Air Premia, Korea’s pioneering hybrid airline, has announced the launch of its new Incheon-Frankfurt regular route, starting from June 23rd. This milestone marks Air Premia’s expansion into European destinations, following its successful operations to Los Angeles in October of last year and New York in May of this year.
The inaugural ceremony for the Incheon-Frankfurt route took place at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport on the morning of June 23rd. While Air Premia’s CEO, Yoo Myung-suk, was unable to attend the event due to his presence at the Frankfurt inauguration, notable attendees included Lee Jong-cheol, CEO of JC Partners (center in the photo), and Kim Jung-kyu, Chairman of Tire Bank, a potential major shareholder candidate (third from the right), as well as Moon Bo-guk, CEO of Milestone Ventures (third from the left). Their presence demonstrated strong support for Air Premia’s expansion into long-haul routes.
The outbound flights from Incheon to Frankfurt will operate four times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), departing Incheon International Airport at 11:05 AM and arriving at Frankfurt International Airport at either 4:45 PM or 4:50 PM local time, depending on the operating day. The return flights will also operate four times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), departing Frankfurt International Airport at either 6:50 PM or 7:00 PM local time and arriving at Incheon International Airport at 1:55 PM the following day, according to Korean time.
