[Travelnews=Jungchan Lee] Sands China Ltd. successfully hosted the ‘Londoner Grand – Macao Showcase 2025’ on May 29–30 in Seoul, South Korea. In celebration of the Londoner Grand’s debut and Macao’s rich cultural and culinary appeal, the event took place over two days in three distinctive parts.

The showcase began with a gala dinner on the evening of May 29, welcoming around 120 guests including government officials and key industry figures. The reception area was elegantly decorated in the official colors of royal blue and gold, featuring creative highlights such as the G Bear Gin Bar and a portrait gallery that embodied the brand’s aesthetic.

The gala dinner featured a four-course meal curated by Chef Choi Hyun-seok, widely known from the Netflix show “Black and White Chef”, and a special live performance by K-pop artist Rain, which captivated the audience. Adding a whimsical touch, the event’s mascot and promotional ambassador, G Bear, made a surprise appearance, lightening the mood with its signature charm.

On the following day, May 30, a formal luncheon centered around the Londoner Grand’s brand story and G Bear’s character was held. Guests were treated to another four-course meal, accompanied by brand storytelling and light entertainment. G Bear also joined the lunch, drawing attention for its unique persona and branding concept.

In the afternoon, a golf event was held with approximately 50 guests. Among the attendees was LPGA star So Yeon Ryu, who interacted warmly with participants. A fun addition to the event was the G Bear Energy Station, enhancing the guest experience with themed refreshments and photo opportunities.

Wilfred Wong, President of Sands China Ltd., stated:

“Korea is a vital strategic market for Macao. This showcase was a meaningful opportunity to present the Londoner Grand’s brand identity and share the evolving luxury resort experience that Macao has to offer.”

The Londoner Grand is a luxury resort featuring 2,405 rooms and suites, 18 room types, personalized service, and a dedicated A-Team to curate each guest’s stay. Rather than simply offering accommodation, the resort positions itself as a “resort within a resort,” putting guest experience at its core.

The mascot G Bear, introduced as the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of the Londoner Grand, symbolizes the resort’s welcoming philosophy and vibrant personality. Jointly produced by the Macao government and private sector, this showcase served not just as a promotional campaign, but as a strategic branding initiative reaffirming Macao’s presence in Korea’s luxury travel market.
