오대산국립공원 소금강산 자동차야영장 앞 계곡 200m 구간이 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지 한시적으로 열린다. 국립공원 계곡은 보호를 위해 출입이 제한되는 곳이 많지만 이번 허용 구간에서는 손과 발을 물에 담글 수 있다. 다만 수영·목욕·취사·야영은 금지되며, 소금강 탐방과 야영장 이용 정보를 함께 확인해야 한다.
강원 화천 파로호 100리 산소길에는 물 위를 걷는 듯한 1.2km 수변 데크길 ‘숲으로다리’가 있다. 살랑교를 지나 북한강 수면 위로 낮게 이어지는 길은 소설가 김훈이 이름 붙인 곳으로 알려졌으며, 붕어섬 자전거 대여소와 평화누리호 유람선, 파로호의 호국 역사까지 함께 엮으면 여름 화천 여행의 밀도 있는 하루 코스가 된다.
충남 부여 궁남지에서 제24회 부여서동연꽃축제가 7월 3일부터 5일까지 열린다. 우리나라에서 가장 오래된 인공연못으로 알려진 궁남지를 배경으로 천만 송이 연꽃, 서동과 선화공주 설화, 수상뮤지컬과 야간경관, 원도심 체험 프로그램이 이어지며, 무료 관람과 백제유적 연계 코스까지 더해져 여름 부여 여행의 동선을 넓힌다. 낮에는 연꽃 산책, 밤에는 빛의 정원이 핵심이다.
